Prof. Zhao Kun's research group has made new progress in the study of the characteristics of the outer rainband on the flow force of the typhoon landing in China and the microphysical characteristics of precipitation. The results are "Kinematics and Microphysics of Convection in the Outer Rainband of Typhoon Nida (2016 ) "Revealed by Polarimetric Radar" was published in "Monthly Weather Review" (impact factor 3.043). The first author of the paper is Dr. Wu Dan, Professor Zhao Kun is the corresponding author, and Nanjing University is the communication unit of the thesis.
